Together Peter and Elaine started Termite Doctors back in 2002 with the desire to offer homeowners on the Sunshine Coast a unique service. Their aim was to become the premier, most trusted Pest Control Business on the Sunshine Coast. Owned since 2002, this has been shown to be the case with multiple business awards, our customers’ great feedback and continued support and loyalty. Over 80% of our business comes from referrals.

Peter has been working in Pest Control for well over 20 years, starting in WA but with most of his time spent in QLD between the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. Over this time Peter has been involved in many aspects of Pest Control, including being part of writing Codes of Practice for the industry, training and utilization of termite detection dogs and fumigation work.

In 2004 Peter was awarded the inaugural Pest Manager of the Year Award by his peers.

We provide our pest control services all over the Sunshine Coast. You will often see us in Buderim, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Alexandra Headland, Mountain Creek, Sippy Downs and often up in Noosa too.

CHRIS ARNOLD

Head Technician

Chris joined the Termite Doctors’ team in 2009 and has been an integral part o the team. The main feedback on Chris is that his passion and knowledge is well beyond his years. Chris strives for outstanding customer satisfaction, if not at work then you will find Chris indulging in his other passion – fishing. He is also a budding movie extra. You may spot him in the latest ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movie or Angelina Jolie’s movie ‘Unbroken’ to namedrop a few.

SHERLOCK

Termite Detection Dog

Sherlock joined our team in April 2005 and was trained by Peter Arnold for the detection of active termites. He was a great asset to the team and not only did he always get compliments on how cute he looked, but he had a real knack for finding termites. Unfortunately, due to age and poor health, Sherlock was laid to rest in December 2014. RIP Sherlock. You are missed!

TEDDY

Office and Team Support & Team Mascot

Teddy joined the team in early 2015 and has to be by far one of the friendliest puppies. Hopefully, you will get a chance to meet him at some point in our office.

Teddy is a Salt and Pepper Miniature Schnauzer who is currently under preliminary training to take over from Sherlock.
